HOW TO APPLY:
1) Applications and a General Information letter will be available April 02, 2025 at the front desk SPYC downtown. The completed Membership Application, along with a check for $200.00 payable to SALTY SISTERS (which covers educational materials, initiation costs, and dues), should be turned in to the downtown front desk by Wednesday, July 30, 2025. [Please address envelope – Attn: Salty Sister Membership Chair.]
2) As the applications are received, they will be processed, and an Interview and Testing session will be set up at a convenient date for all parties.
3) After passing both the Water Survival and Sailing tests, the applicant will be given a schedule for the education classes which will begin Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
[Please note – Checks will be returned to those who do not
make the class limit or pass the water survival and/or sailing test.]
All Testing and Orientation will be held at the St. Petersburg Sailing Center (SPSC), at which time the applicant may learn more about the Salty Sisters and vice versa!
PLEASE MARK THE FOLLOWING DATES ON YOUR CALENDAR:

- WEDNESDAY, APRIL 02, 2025: Applications will be made available at the front Desk of SPYC Downtown. Due to limited class size, the applications will be considered in the order in which they are received.
- WEDNESDAY, JULY 30, 2025: Applications must be completed and returned to the front desk downtown.
- WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2025: New Classes begin.
- WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2025: Last Day of Classes. [No class October 1 – Salty Sister Annual Meeting.]
